Welcome!

I'm Kee Hoback

I believe one of the the best things I can do as a parent is to show my kids the beauty and diversity of our world. In 2022, I took a year off to travel the world with my husband, infant son and 3 year old daughter. Now we live in the USA and squeeze in 4 – 5 trips a year despite tight school and work schedules. Over the years, our family has been to over 40 countries across 5 continents.

I grew up in India and went on my first international trip to Singapore when I was six. My clearest memory of the trip is the anticipation and excitement in the airport departure lounge. To this day, I love airports. Yes, I’m one of the few crazy people who actually loves airports – despite having my fair share of delays, cancellations, and sleeping on uncomfortable airport chairs. To me, they will always represent the beginning of a journey and an adventure.

As soon as I was old enough, I moved to London to begin my graduate studies at the London School of Economics. Studying abroad was a no-brainer for me – any chance to live and explore another country, I was going to take it. It’s there that I met my American husband – my soulmate who shared my love for travel.

I began my career at the BBC in London, using it as a base to explore Europe during our time off. Eventually we moved to New York City, where I spent most of my career working for Major League Baseball, overseeing teams and managing product strategy for MLB.com, MLB.TV streaming app, All Star Game Fan experience and other iconic baseball brands.

After having my second child, we had grown out of our cramped city apartment and had to move to a bigger place. Since we had to pack up our entire house anyway, we put all our stuff in storage and took a year off to travel the world with our little ones. It was easily one of the best years of my life. After coming back, I had to rethink my priorities, and I decided to spend more time doing the two things I love most – travel and spending time with my kids.

But it wasn’t enough to just travel for myself anymore. I wanted to share this joy with other families. I wanted to make it easier for busy parents to have the information and the confidence to take their kids anywhere in the world. And that’s why I started this website.

I know first hand how hard it is to plan family trips. It can take weeks to research an itinerary, get the best prices, and get practical on-the-ground information. Because with kids, you need to do your research to be prepared for anything.

With my step-by-step guides, I will help you with each phase of your vacation planning, cut to the chase and choose the best bucket list adventures. I want to help you maximize every precious minute of your well-earned vacation so you too can show your kids the amazing world we live in!
